Dear BCIG PTP,
I am SO PROUD of our group of parents and teachers who put on an amazing and successful event last night for BCIG Elementary! The entire project from the book giveaway in December to last night's celebration of the Mouse and the Motorcycle was a huge success for our school! As a parent I will always remember and treasure this book along with the memories that were made and I know my kids will too!
A few highlights from BCIG ELEMENTARY FAMILY FUN NIGHT 2015 - MOUSE & THE MOTORCYCLE:
Water Bottle Prizes - if your child attended Family Fun Night but didn't get a chance to pick up his/her water bottle prize please contact me and we will make sure one gets to your family.
Photos - we are currently making prints from the photo booth and will get these to the students within the next week. Prints will go home in the kids backpacks once they are completed. We also hope to make a photo collage at the elementary school for the kids! If you have photos you want to share of the event you can post them to our BCIG PTP Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/bcigparentteacherpartnership
There were so many elements to our One Book: One School Project - the book giveaway, school assemblies & bulletin boards, teacher's classroom doors, kid's artwork on the school walls & lockers, parents & teachers reading the books with their kids, themed t-shirts, and Family Fun Night itself!
I believe one of the biggest takeaways of this program was the true partnership of BCIG Elementary teachers & staff and the parents. It was beyond awesome to see all of us working together to support our kids with the Mouse & the Motorcycle story... we helped them read it, learn it, and ultimately... LOVE IT!
Again, thank you ALL for your support, time, and dedication to BCIG Elementary. Each step and helping hand is a contribution and together our PTP group makes a difference! GO FALCONS!
Sincerely,
Amy
