Happy Friday BCIG PTP!
1. 2015 SPRING CLEANING TRASH BAG FUNDRAISER - thank you to the Ida County Courier who published a nice article about our fundraiser in this week's paper! Our goal is to sell at least 500 rolls of white, yellow & blue trash bags - 7 selling days left and every trash bag sale counts! Each colored roll costs $10 and you can order from any BCIG Elementary Student, any BCIG PTP member, fill out an order form in the teacher lounge at the school, or email [email protected]. All orders forms are due back to the school by FRIDAY, MAY 1st. Students only need to return the yellow order form and white sales packet - they do NOT need to return the sample trash bags. 2. THURSDAY, May 12th TRASH BAG PICK UP - we need volunteers to help students pick up their trash bags between 3:30 - 7:30pm. If you are able to help for an hour, 2 hours, etc. let me know. We are also looking for any middle school & high school volunteers that could help us carry trash bags to parent's cars. One box of 8 white rolls weighs approximately 50 pounds. If you are able to help anytime during this day please let me know!
2. 2015 SPRING PTP MEEETING - our last meeting of the school year will be on Thursday, May 7th from 6:30 - 7:30pm in the library at BCIG Elementary. We will review our PTP program and financials for the year, discuss end of the year possibilities, and brainstorm any suggestions for next Summer/Fall. We will have two raffle drawings for Ida Grove Chamber Bucks - one for PTP volunteers since our last meeting and the second for anyone in attendance at the meeting.
3. TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK is May 4 - 8th, 2015. We have a few special things already in the works but if anyone would like to do something special during this week for our teachers & staff please message me back so I can keep a master list. I will send a follow up email on this next week but will only send it out to PTP parents on the message list so our PTP staff is surprised!
If anyone has any questions, comments, or suggestions please let me know! Thank you for all of your support, GO FALCONS, and HAPPY FRIDAY!
